Mini-NBA registration...

I wanted to remind everyone that the registration deadline for the mini-NBA program (3rd & 4th graders) is on October 15th.  Practices will start on November 4ththis year.  Please let me know if you have any concerns or questions about any part or River Falls Youth Boys Basketball.  The link below will start you on your way towards registration.  4th graders will have an opportunity to play in a tournament in River Falls in February that is free.  This is a good opportunity to see how tournaments work as these kids will play a full traveling schedule in 5th grade.

RFYBB does have a financial assistance program for those families in financial need.

Looks like a good read...

Judging by the reviews and sample chapters, this book is spot on!  I love this quote:

"Full court press in youth basketball is like smoking in elementary school and should be banned forever!"

The 2013 10,000 & 5,000 Shot Club wrap-up meeting is set for this Sunday at the MMS gym at 5:00pm.  Please use the south entrance and remember to bring the shot tracking forms.

MMS principal and youth coach, Mark Chapin will be present to discuss goal setting and team improvement through individual off season gains.

T-shirts and sweatshirts will be ordered this week and the athletes should have them by the beginning of the basketball season.

NOTE:  Those athletes that have successfully completed and tracked their 5k or 10k shots this summer will be eligible to be the "Junior Wildcat" for a home game.  This includes sitting on the Wildcat bench and getting introduced as part of the lineup.
